<tc>ENGWE L20</tc>

Very strong bike. The battery is good aswell. I hoop one upgrade the battery.

I have recently purchased an Engwe L20 and I'm very pleased with it.
The bike came very well packaged in a big box with lots of foam and cardboard to protect it during shipping. Unpacking was easy and the small amount of assembly required wasn't a problem. All the tools needed for fitting the pedals, front luggage rack, front wheel and handlebars come with the bike.

My first impressions are great for a bike at this price point; local alternatives were easily three or four times as expensive, and right now I don't see how they can match the value of the Engwe.

Pros:
-Very powerful when pedaling, goes up hills easily without losing speed.
-Feels very ruggedly built, the welds look good and I can't see any spots without paint.
-Comfortable saddle, and the big tires and front dampers help soak up bumps making the ride nice.
-Lots of storage options on the standard bike with the front and rear luggage racks
-Lights are nice and bright without blinding oncoming cyclists and the rear light has a brake function.

Cons:
If you, like me, are coming from a simple non-electric bike with little to no features that weighs around 10 kg, and you need to lift the bike up/down some stairs to get it into and out of storage, you will notice the weight. That being said, the local (more expensive) competitors here are just under 30 kg so the difference to a premium e-bike isn't that big. It was just a big difference for me at first, but I got used to it quickly.

Ottima ebike, robusta ed affidabile.

First of all the L20 arrived faster than advertized. Building the bike was ok. The structure in the manual doesnt make much sense though. Both brakes and gear was perfectly aligned out the box. Having build a lot of different bikes this one was a quite pleasant build. Lots of well thought details in the build. Like very good cable management and no frame shafing from cables.
The bike rides like a tank. Apart from the small motor delay when pedaling its a pure joy to ride. Buttons on the display could be large or easier to use. But thats so far my only complaint. The motor is very powerful. My wife has a e-bike with 350w center engine. It cannot pull me faster than 18 kmh going up the steep hill to our house. The L20 locked to 25 kmh delivers 25 kmh also going up steep hills.
For this prize its hard to find anything similar. Good build quality. Nice design. Good performance.

So far so good loving the freedom I have with the L20. I purchased this ebike because of lung disease and hills were becoming an ordeal on my road bike and because I don't drive and work in various locations this bike is a game changer. Hoping for many adventures
